Pride 2022

Staff and pupils enjoyed participating in Pride Celebrations at Overton School.

We enjoyed wearing bright colours and learning about acceptance, equality and love. As a school we learnt and performed the classic Queen song ‘Don’t stop me now.’ Using Makaton signing.

We heard a special Overton message from Miss Wales and had a mini Pride march through the school. We then had a Pride disco where we danced to the classics the YMCA, Macarena and the Cha Cha Slide. Followed by a beautiful rainbow themed buffet lunch.

We had an excellent morning raising awareness for Pride. We are extremely proud of the efforts of all pupils and staff.
